4 The KHSDRP (World Bank Project) has procured Instruments, Glasswares, Computers & Accessories and Furnitures to State food laboratory and also for three divisional laboratories to the tune of 33.13 lakhs, another 36 lakhs for instruments is in tender process

2 Proposal for creation of a separate Food Safety Commisionarate with 623 posts of various cadres-under process in Government
3 A proposal of Rs 7.4 crores has been submitted under additional finance of KHSDRP for activities like,
i Upgradation of food laboratories, procurement of equipment’s
ii Capacity building for various officers
iii Baseline survey and mapping of ffod production units in the State
iv Construction and establishment of Designated Officers offices in 30 districts
v Establishment and management of the helpline in the State
vi Awareness workshops for various food manufactures in the state
4 Notification of more no. of Registering Authorities in BBMP
5 Constitution of Food Safety Appellate Tribunal by Government
